Thirty One Days of Summer | Week 2

14 comments , Share It:

This week I turned 21. Like I wrote in a letter to a friend, 20 was a rough year. It brought me to my knees in prayer more than I had ever been before and made me cry and call out to the Almighty for guidance and direction. But through it all, just as He has promised, He never left my side but walked with me and comforted every step of the Way, and now that He has brought me out of darkness once again and into His marvelous light, I can say that he turned my world upside down in the best way ever. Our Heavenly Father is good all the time and I put my trust in Him once again with another year of my life because I can't wait to see what wondrous things He will do.

  1. Spicy chicken sandwich? I remember when we went out and you and Mari got them but they didn't flavor the chicken all the way round. hahaha

  3. As usual, beautiful pictures Rosi! I like the plant shot - are those tomatoes? The camera necklace in the last photo is so cute.
Also, happy birthday! What a blessing to have learned the faithfulness of the Lord, though it was through hard times.

  4. Yay for keeping up with the challenge! I enjoy coming back each to see what you've captured so far this summer!

Isn't it so encouraging to know that we can always call out to the lover of our souls?! He will never give us more than we can bear! He takes us through the darkest times to mold us into more faith-filled, strong and compassionate believers! He's going to use that time and the lessons you learned for something beautiful! I just know it! And He says so in His Word! (Genesis50:20 + Romans 8:28)

And yay for turning 2! Like I said on IG, I hope this year is filled with new experiences, but most importantly, with the opportunity to grow in your love and relationship with The Lord! <3

  8. First off, your photography is beautiful and I love your blog.

Secondly, you're right. Everyone has those years where you're humbled before Him, He brings us to our knees and then tells us to rise for His embrace. His guidance in my life is amazing. His love in my life is incredible.

May the year ahead that belongs to you be fantastic, fulled with His grace and with lots of good food and big hugs.

    I will be following. ♥
